Athanasios Lagos

The journalist Thanasis Lagos was born in 1968 in Kalamata, Peloponnese. From a very young age he has been interested in economics, politics and history. He studied Accounting at the University of Western Macedonia and taught Economics in the private sector for ten years. From 2003 until today, he has been working at the newspaper “Eleftheria” (Freedom) of Kalamata, where he has also served as editor-in-chief. For many years he has also been one of the main columnists of the newspaper and the website www.eleftheriaonline.gr
