Evgenia Tzortzi

Evgenia Tzortzi works for the last 22 years as a financial news editor for the daily newspaper Kathimerini, one of the leading publications of Greece with a high international profile thanks to its English edition. She also cooperates with the financial portal Money Review which is the new digital for financial and business news of the Kathimerini Editions. During her long journalistic career Evgenia has covered a wide range of macroeconomic issues, with her main areas of interest being the banking and insurance sector, financial markets regulation, EU policy and particularly the use of the Structural Funds in Greece. Evgenia has graduated from the University of Piraeus with a degree in Economics and Business Administration. She also graduated from the Workshop for Professional Journalists before she started working full-time.
