Konstantinos Chalioris is an economist with an MSc in Sustainable Development from Harokopio University and a PhD candidate at the same institution, focusing on the contribution of cultural associations and local organizations to the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage, particularly in the Municipality of Dorida. Professionally, since 2000, he has been a freelancer, managing a company that specializes in the production and export of precision metal components.

In parallel, he has held significant positions in the field of sports, most notably serving as the General Director at the Olympic Athletic Center of Athens (OAKA) “Spiros Louis” since 2020, where he oversees the management of Greece’s largest sports facilities. Additionally, he is a member of the Health Scientific Committee of the General Secretariat of Sports, contributing to the development of health protocols during the pandemic. He also leads the Secretariat’s Working Committee for monitoring and evaluating sports facilities in the Attica region. He has participated as a member of organizing committees for major sporting events, including the Tour of Hellas (Cycling Greece) and Acropolis Rally (Motorsport Greece).

Furthermore, he is actively involved in research, contributing to scientific manuals and publishing in international journals such as the “Sustainable Development Culture, Traditions Journal.” He has also participated in numerous scientific conferences focused on the development of culture and sports in Greece.
