Dr. Theofanis Zacharatos holds an MBA in Food Business Management from the University of Patras, an MSc in Finance from the Hellenic Open University, and a PhD from the University of Patras awarded in 2024. His research is focused on Consumer Behavior, particularly on issues related to food waste, sustainable consumption, and sustainable development. He is currently a research associate at the ATHENA Research Center, involved with the Alliance of Excellence for Research and Innovation on Aephoria (AE4RIA), and a scientific associate at the Region of Western Greece. In 2019, Dr. Zacharatos received a scholarship from the European Institute of Innovation and Technology – Climate Knowledge and Innovation Community (EIT Climate-KIC). He has participated in international conferences and has published articles in scientific journals, contributing to the discourse on sustainability.
