Dionisios Panagiotaras is an Associate Professor at the Department of Environment, Ionian University. He served as Head of the Department of Environment, President of the Ionian University Professors Association, member of the Management Committee of 4 European Union Actions for Cooperation in Science and Technology, member of the scientific committee of international conferences. At the present is the President of the Local Management Committee of the Nature Protection Areas in the territory of the Western Peloponnese.
