Andreas Filιas, born on August 30, 1966, in Athens and raised in Patras, is a distinguished educator with 36 years of experience. In addition to his extensive educational career, he has a long history in local government. Since 2024, he has served as the Deputy Regional Governor for Agricultural Development in the Western Greece Region. Prior to this, he held various roles including Deputy Regional Governor for Economic Policy and Financial Control (RWG), Deputy Regional Governor for Administration and Electronic Governance (RWG), as well as Deputy Mayor for Education, Transparency, and Electronic Consultation in the Municipality of Patras. His political involvement includes active participation in trade unions and administrative boards, and he has also served as president of the Association of Postgraduate Students of the Patras Teaching Institute (Didaskaleio Patron). He is married and a father of three children.
